On Friday March 19th, at 8PM, the Carriage House Cafˇ at 305 Stewart Avenue in Ithaca, NY will present an evening of exciting eclectic string stylings from some of Ithaca's finest musicians, including violinist Ritsu Katsumata, violinist Judy Hyman, guitarist-vocalist Miche Fambro, and cellist Hank Roberts. They will perform individually as well as collaboratively. Tickets are $10 at the door and are limited.

The concert begins promptly at 8 PM and will be recorded for a future broadcast of "Crossing Borders", a multi-cultural concert series that will begin airing weekly several months from now on WVBR. The series will take place at the newly renovated Carriage House Cafˇ and will eventually be broadcast live. Prior to that time, monthly preview concerts will take place in April and May. Denice Karamardian will host the series.

The Carriage House Cafˇ will officially open for business in September of 2004. The Cafˇ's mission is to promote multi-cultural exchange and awareness by providing hospitality and entertainment to the local and international community through cultural presentation of arts, music, cuisine and educational programming.
