Each violin is equipped with a Baggs bridge and Mills microphone. This setup produces a strong, clean, warm, reliable acoustic sound.
One stays in standard violin tuning. The other two are for open tunings. |
3 five-string electric violins |
One stays in standard tuning. A second is for alternate tunings. Both these violins produce the full range of both a violin and a viola.
The third is strung with "octave" strings for cello range.
A range of sound can be produced on these instruments from very natural to highly effected. |
Amplification for live performance |
Both the electric and acoustic violins run through Pendulum preamps for a strong, clean sound suitable for both large and small venues.
